SUSTAINAVL is a nonprofit organization (chartered in North Carolina) seeking to promote the growth of a robust environmental sustainability economic sector in Asheville, Buncombe County, and Western North Carolina. 

We are working to accelerate our community's economic growth by bringing together local participants in the sustainability sector: business, non-profits, educational institutions, and government. We're holding an exciting Expo & Job Fair, on April 11-12, 2025 at AB-Tech, to introduce the public to the many benefits—including great jobs!—of this economic growth engine (learn more here.)

In the longer term, we're working to build Climate City Center: a Living Building in the heart of Asheville that will become the locus for education and business development for the sustainability sector in our region (learn more here).
